Another in my series of "HOME"

This is a sculpture I have been working on based on the idea of home being inside of us. We often search for our home with our birthplace, our mothers and fathers, or friends from childhood. When these prove false or disappointing we may turn to addictions to affirm us as being whole and worthwhile. The idea of Home being in us comes from the verse Ephesians 3:17 Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will go down into God's love and keep you strong. It is called "Not Home Yet" It is about our distrust of ourselves and the fear of going inward.
